A Little About Me
Well, it seems I finally reached out of my comfort zone and decided to create a blog page. This is a rather big accomplishment for me since it is sometimes hard to imagine sharing my thoughts with the world of online subscribers. I look forward to expanding my horizons a little more with this page since I have become so inspired by other bloggers I have met through my online bible study. I hope everyone who visits my page enjoys my first blog page…it will become a history in the making! Luckily, I was already familiar with how to use WordPress since I manage and maintain the company website for my current employer.
Being a native Texas girl, I know a thing or two about living down south in an area where it seldom gets cold. Thank goodness since I am not sure I would ever be fully acclimated to bitter winters like they have up north. I am the eldest child in my family and have two younger sisters. Also, I have five adorable nieces and nephews that I adore as if they were my own. My dear sweet, loving dad went to be with the Lord in the summer of 2010. He was one of my rocks in life and someone I could always look up to, so naturally I miss and think about him everyday. I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Management in 2005 from the American Intercontinental University. This has been my biggest accomplishment in life since I went back to college after 16 years to finally pursue this long term goal. Currently, I attend the North Side Baptist Church in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
What do I do in my spare time? I have a multitude of things I enjoy doing in my life which can sometimes get me in trouble and/or stress me out. Some of my favorite things include reading, watching movies, playing with my two wonderful dogs (dachshunds named Doxie and Chloe), spending time with family and friends, church activities, sporting events, surfing the internet, walking, photography, Melissa Taylor online bible studies, and many other fun and adventurous activities.
If you are interested in signing up for the bible studies or learning more information about them, please visit her website at http://melissataylor.org/. These bible studies have definitely impacted my life in such a positive way that I like to brag about them all the time. Our newest study starting this week is titled, Let.It.Go. by Karen Ehman.
Happy Blog Reading! 🙂
